Our Concept of Quality

For Ocono, quality means more than simply meeting requirements. Quality is reflected in reliable products, safe processes, responsible conduct and collaborative partnerships throughout the entire value chain.

  • We listen carefully to understand requirements at an early stage and implement them appropriately. .
  • We design processes to be reliable and effective, ensuring that quality is consistent.
  • We consider risks systematically to identify deviations, disruptions and potential impacts at an early stage.
  • We act in a committed and solution-oriented manner, both internally and externally.
  • We create the conditions for reliability through clear responsibilities, appropriate methods and the necessary resources.
  • We continuously improve by translating insights from day-to-day operations into concrete measures.

We See Quality as a Big Picture!

Our understanding of quality covers Ocono as a whole and forms the basis for our day-to-day operations across all our subsidiaries. It combines product and process quality with a sense of responsibility towards people, the environment, partners and markets. This is how we build trust – both internally and externally, today and in the future.

For us, quality begins long before production and does not end with delivery. It arises where requirements are clearly understood, processes are designed with reliability in mind, risks are identified at an early stage and decisions are made responsibly. That is why we take a holistic view of quality at Ocono: as an interplay of customer focus, technical standards, robust processes, continuous improvement and a clear understanding of our values.

In doing so, we focus not only on the reliability of our products and services, but also on the way we work together – within our teams, with customers, with suppliers and with other stakeholders.

✔️ Customer Focus

We consistently align our thinking and actions with our customers’ needs. For us, quality means reliably delivering on agreed services – in terms of product design, availability, adherence to deadlines and cost-effectiveness..

✔️ Reliable Processes

Consistent quality is achieved through well-managed processes. That is why we design our organisational and operational procedures to be transparent, effective and stable. Our aim is to prevent errors from occurring in the first place.

✔️ Acting Responsibly

For us, responsibility is an integral part of quality. This includes acting with integrity, treating one another with respect, upholding human rights, ensuring fair working conditions, and using natural resources responsibly.

✔️ Transparency & Collaboration

Transparent communication is the foundation of trust. That is why we are committed to open dialogue with customers, suppliers, employees and other partners – in a factual, engaging and solution-focused manner.

✔️ Continuous Improvement

Quality is not a static state. We regularly review existing procedures, learn from our findings and continuously refine our systems, processes and standards.

✔️ Empowerment Through Knowledge

Quality requires clarity, expertise and a sense of responsibility. That is why we empower our staff through targeted communication, practical training and a shared understanding of requirements and standards.
