We are proud to say that all Ocono companies practice and uphold these commitments in their day-to-day work. Within Germany, this applies to Ocono APD Schlauchtechnik GmbH, Ocono Ruhrkunststoff GmbH and Ocono VACUFLEX GmbH. Furthermore, it applies to Ocono France SARL in France, Ocono Italy S.r.l. in Italy and Ocono Romania S.R.L. in Romania.
Compliance means following legal, regulatory and internal requirements, as well as ethical standards. For Ocono, compliance is not just a legal obligation, but a fundamental part of our corporate culture.

Acting responsibly is an integral part of Ocono’s corporate culture. With clearly defined compliance guidelines, we provide guidance for employees, partners and business units to ensure that processes are transparent, fair and in line with legal and ethical requirements.
1. Ethical Behaviour and Integrity
All employees of Ocono are obliged to act with honesty, fairness and integrity in all business dealings. Bribery, corruption and any other form of unethical behavior are strictly prohibited.
- No bribery or corruption: It is prohibited to accept or offer gifts, payments or other inducements that could influence the independence of business decisions.
- Conflicts of interest: Employees should ensure that private interests do not conflict with the interests of Ocono. All conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Ocono is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate.
- Anti-discrimination: All employees must ensure that discrimination based on gender, age, ethnic origin, religion or other personal characteristics is not tolerated in any form.
- Competition law: It is prohibited to engage in anti-competitive behavior such as price fixing or market manipulation. Labor law: All statutory provisions on labor law, such as working hours, minimum wages and safety regulations, must be observed.
- Employment law: All statutory provisions relating to employment law, such as working hours, minimum wages and health and safety regulations, must be observed.
3. Environmental Protection and Sustainability
Ocono is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate
- Environmental protection: All production processes must be designed to minimize negative effects on the environment. Waste management, recycling and resource conservation are essential components of our actions.
- Sustainability: We promote sustainable development by selecting suppliers who use environmentally conscious and ethical production methods.
4. Data Protection and Information Security
The protection of personal data and the security of confidential information are of paramount importance.
- Data protection: All employees must ensure that personal data is protected and treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR).
- IT security: All employees are obliged to follow the security guidelines when handling company data and IT systems in order to prevent cybercrime and data loss.
5. Transparency and Communication
We promote a culture of open communication and transparency in all areas of our company.
- Whistleblower system: Employees can and should report any breaches of these compliance guidelines anonymously. There is no fear of negative consequences for whistleblowers.
- Internal reporting: All financial, operational and strategic information must be reported correctly and in good time to the relevant departments.

7. Responsibility of Managers
Managers have a special responsibility to promote these compliance guidelines and ensure that all employees understand and adhere to them.
- Role model function: Managers must act as role models in ethical matters and clearly communicate the importance of adhering to compliance guidelines in all business areas.
- Training: All employees are expected to receive regular training on relevant compliance issues.
8. Monitoring & Enforcement
Ocono has implemented mechanisms to monitor adherence to these compliance guidelines.
- Regular audits: Regular audits and reviews are conducted to ensure that all policies are being adhered to.
- Disciplinary measures: Violations of these guidelines may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
